Whooo Hoooo!! As Jody would say. I am now at 183 and that's a 26 lbs loss from Aug. Not only that but my lab work showed my A1C at 6.0 which is so much better than 7.2 like before. Anyway, I'm excited to be able to just do 6 mos. checkups from now on and not this every 2-3 wks lab stuff. I feel that every pound I lost was worth it and I want to now set my new goal of 160 by March 21st which is our 48th wedding anniversary. That's a pretty big goal, but I am determined to get there. Please continue to pray for me that I might get the rest of this weight off, figure out a new schedule and walk more. All of my stats were good except my good cholesterol was a tad low but she says activity will bring that back up where it belongs. So, by losing the weight and doing more activity I should be able to get my A1C even lower. That would be a great accomplishment, however, I am a diabetic and I always will be. I can control it completely by diet as long as I keep the weight off. She also put me on baby aspirin today forever so I don't get a stroke like Mom and Dad. I'm hoping that works. So today I am praising the Lord for providing my aunts, cousin and sister (which are my best friends), Shirley, Linda S & Linda L and Donna for being my Weight Watcher Buddies. Without them I'd never have gotten this far. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart.
While you are praying, please do not forget Mom. Mom has bronchitis and you all know that it can go into pneumonia in 20 mins. So please put her at the top of your prayer list. Thank you. God bless. Joyful Judi
