DEC 10!! I Made My 10% Goal!!!

Good morning blog!
I have been stuck in such a rut for the past month. I just couldn't break that 187-188 plateau. But this morning I did it.. 186.3 exactly at my 10% goal. I will check to see what my new weight goal is, but it should be around 176. I am hoping that I can actually get there much sooner than it took me to get to this one, but that depends on the plateau and also how much time I can squeeze in for exercise. That was my main problem before. Supposedly Non only has about 3-4 more weeks of work, then we can get back on our old schedule and I can get my mornings back. When I get up at 4:30 and get him off at 5:30 to work, then I start laundry, baking for the church, doing lots of paperwork for Jo and getting all the reports in that Senior Services and Brookdale and Veterans need and filing her receipts and bills and then there is our own paperwork and budgeting and posting all the receipts of things we bought. Then comes breakfast, dishes and I'm on the road depending on what day it is. Monday to the church, then Jo, then Winco or Walmart or both before coming home to lunch. Then it's get something started for dinner and finish any laundry or whatever I didn't get done before I headed out and get ready to greet Non when he gets home. Tuesdays I used to go meet Mom at Jo's but now that Donna is here she will be taking Mom shopping. So maybe Tuesday I can start back on my treadmill. One of my problems is that I am very light-headed/dizzy and I'm not sure if that is caused by the blood sugar dropping between meals or what it is. What ever it is makes me nervous to drive at times. Jo's blood sugar drops and she gets weak and can't even function when she doesn't eat right. I am trying so hard to eat right so I can get rid of this diabetes, but some of the foods that are okay for diabetes I can't have. I can't have sugar-free anything. I can't have broccoli because it messes with my thyroid meds. I am going to go shopping today to find fruits and veggies I can have and still be satisfied. I miss my pasta and my bread a lot. But I do occasionally have a sandwich. I couldn't just go cold turkey without bread...hmmm that sounds good right now... cold turkey sandwich... Anyway, I'm looking forward to the next month to see how much more I can lose and see how it affects my A1C for the diabetes test. I'm going to the lab on the 19th and see Dr Hull on the 27th to find the results. Here is hoping it's not 7.2 any more. Off to breakfast...
