HOW TO MAKE A BFAST BURRITO --- NOT!!

OK, So, here is how NOT to make a breakfast burrito. I was trying to do the eggs in one pan and open the fat free cheese slice (why do they always have those wrappers so tight you can't peel them?) and open my salsa fresca (no pull tab - you have to cut into that plastic top with a sharp knife) and heat my tortilla on the other burner.... OK. Note to self - first turn on the fan so when you burn the tortilla the smoke alarm doesn't go off. Second note to self - open all containers and peel the cheese cover off BEFORE you start the eggs. Third note to self - get out the spoon before you try and pour the salsa on the egg and cheese because it can flop a lot more than you intended.
Second try at burrito - I did great. The egg and cheese are okay I just had to cook the last tortilla (thankfully I had another one) and put it all together. Then I poured out the excess tomato liquid into the sink ( and I didn't even spill any of my burrito doing it!!! YAY!) Second try much better than first one.. but the house still smells of burned tortilla... will have to open doors and windows and start the fans.
OK Breakfast is over and I pulled up that poor tomato plant. It started out as a topsy turvy one but it wasn't doing well at all, so Non and I put it in a planter and propped it up and I got 3 tomatoes off it before it stopped doing anything. I left it for a couple weeks, but then the rain started and it still wasn't doing anything so this morning I just put it to rest in the garbage can. The other tomato plant is doing okay and still has 8 tomatoes on it that are growing but it's a lot cooler now and no sun to speak of - just rain. So I'll probably have to find a recipe for green tomatoes and pull that one, too. The flowers are still blooming and that's cool. I will probably take them to the cemetery for Dad's grave eventually. They just toss them later, but it will be pretty for a bit, anyway. Time for my treadmill walk.
